Over Exercising and Headaches

Some people exercise too little... and some exercise too much!

Too much exercise puts stress on the whole body. So your body has to downgrade some functions in order to survive. Obviously the heart and brain need to have priority. Otherwise you die!

Typically the kidney/adrenal system is the one that is most overworked. This system regulates (among other things) your blood pressure. So it is not unusual for those who exercise too much to have too high or too low blood pressure... both which can contribute to headaches and migraines.

As alway, remember, if headaches continue or are severe, please, please, please see your qualified health care provider! Thank you for your attention! Karl
